One might say Andres Fresenga’s first taste of soccer was a bit of disappointment.
“I was like three or four years old and I remember trying to go on my cousin’s team and the coach didn’t want me,” remembers the 21-year-old Ottawa Fury FC player.
Undeterred, his parents signed a young Fresenga up for a soccer academy in his hometown of Toronto.
