BC Soccer Adult Provincial Cup Draw Results and Match-Ups

Vancouver BC, April 1, 2014 – BC Soccer held the annual Adult Provincial Cup Draw last night at Fortius Sport and Health in front of more than 50 guests.  Results of the draws can be found at http://adultprovincials.bcsoccer.net/schedule-results, which is a specific site for all information pertaining to BC Soccer’s Adult Provincial Championships.

“It was a great atmosphere at the Adult Provincial Cup draw with attendees from leagues, clubs and teams present,” said Kjeld Brodsgaard, BC Soccer First Vice President and Chair of the Adult’s Competition Committee. “It was amazing to hear from special guests like the Women’s National Team Coach John Herdman and past professional player Carl Valentine which really made the event something special.”

Special guests; John Herdman, Canadian Women’s National Team Coach; Rita Rogers,  Venue General Manager Vancouver, FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015; Tyler Green, Host of AM 650 Soccer Talk; and Whitecaps FC’s Carl Valentine all took part in BC Soccer’s Adult Provincial Cup draw.  Over 100 teams in eight separate divisions were in the draw and all results can be found at http://adultprovincials.bcsoccer.net/schedule-results

“We would like to thank all of the special guest speakers and all of the attendees for making the draw such a great experience,” said Roger Barnes BC Soccer President.  “As always, there were some amazing match ups and great rivalries drawn and we hope everyone will get out and take in some great soccer while supporting their local club.  Good luck to all of the teams!”

BC Soccer’s Adult Provincial Championships will host more than 101 teams that will play down until eight final (four men’s and four women’s) matches are set.  The men’s finals will take place on May 10, 2014 at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex with the Women’s Finals taking place the following day May 11, 2014 at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex as well.
