VANCOUVER — Vancouver Whitecaps’ 13,000-plus season ticket holders have received a silver lining to the Amway Canadian Championship semifinal playoff loss to Toronto FC: Major League Soccer playoff tickets.
The club told season ticket holders Thursday that in lieu of hosting an Amway final match at BC Place Stadium, they will get free tickets to a home playoff game if the Caps qualify for MLS post-season play.
